Christmas at the Muldoon’s

I have to say that this year was my FAVORITE CHRISTMAS so far!! Being a new mommy brings all the magic and wonder of the holidays to LIFE.  Even though Gabriel is too young to understand Santa Claus or any of that, he definitely knows that the family is here and there are so many fun things going on.  This is Gabriel’s signature “kissy face.”  He is such an affectionate little man.  Twas the night before Christmas:Christmas

Gabriel especially loves anything snuggly and fuzzy.  He walks around squeezing these teddy bears.  What a lovable baby.IMG_7045

Then, Gabriel got to wear his new Reindeer tie to go visit his grandparents.  Does he not look GQ?IMG_7113

After visiting the Grandparents, (I totally forgot to bring my camera :()  We do Santa’s job for the first time.  That’s Conor assembling Gabriel’s new slide.  It has a basketball hoop with football and soccer made especially for little hands.

And I worked on Ginger Bread Teddy Bears for Santa.  Don’t laugh at my decorating skills.  ;0

Christmas Morning.  Gabe sees the Sports Climber Slide thingy for the first time.  He was enjoying morning milk but, he didn’t let that go for a second.

Gabriel impressed us all by making a basket and then immediately moving the counter to 2 points.  How did  he know to do that?  Do we have a budding basketball star in our home?

Sherry,   What a treat it was to go through your days before and day of Christmas with Gabriel. He is so adorable and lovable. I just want to hug and cuddle with him through the computer.   I would love to be able to take pictures of Max like that. Just everyday living. Any suggestions on a camera for me? Do you think I would need to purchase photoshop? or some other userfriendly program?

Thanks Dorothy! I’m so sorry that I missed you while you were in town. I think that would be great for you and Max. I would suggest the Canon Rebel series. Those are amazing cameras and they are great way to start learning the basics of photography. If you can find a used or refurbished one, even better. Go to the Canon refurbished website. You can use Picasa, free Google software to edit. But, if you really want to get into Photoshop Elements is very affordable.
