Hoblitzelle Camp in Midlothian, Texas is a beautiful ranch where the Salvation Army chief officers and their families stay during their missions.   What a great time of the year to photograph members of such a superb organization of service.  I had been out to the camp before for another family that works for the SA.  The Luyk family have raised 3 amazingly, confident children.  Keisha is an extended family member that one of the girl’s took under her wing to mentor.  Since Keisha loves photography the way I do, I asked her to help me out through out the day and act as my assistant.  Of course, she  ROCKED it!!

The family has started a tradition of taking pics at different places in this pose.  I didn’t really have to ask but, it means “Praise HIM!”  And I love how they “Praise HIM!”  everywhere they go! 

These two just got married about a year ago.. They are an adorable couple!

I asked them to be really serious for one.  This is what they gave me….I LOVED IT!

Remember that Salvation Army is a trusted organization and an excellent way to GIVE this holiday season.  You know that your dollars go to doing the “most good.”  I know my own family is starting our own giving tradition this year that will include organizations such as these.
