What to Do If Your Images Are Stolen

In today’s digital age, it’s very easy to just snag a photo offline for personal use. As photographers, we have to consider this before posting our work. It’s hard to believe that other photographers would also steal and use another artist’s work as their own. But, it happens – A LOT!! I was shocked to find one of my own wedding images being used on a screensaver website. It seems weird that anyone would want a picture of my bride and her bridal party on their screen even if their was a shark in the picture. This website, http://stopstealingphotos.com/ makes a public list of photographers who steal from others. So what do YOU do if you find your work on another site?
